I think the reason why some hozier fans are so annoying is bc they wanna fandomize this man and his music so bad.
They want him to be a "funky bog man" and put him into cottage core aesthetics and the minute they listen to his songs they wanna try and find one that fits their favorite good omens/hannibal/ofmd/(insert any other boring white mlm show here) ship.
They don't wanna actually sit there and listen to his music. They don't wanna sit there and analyze and think about it. They don't wanna think about hozier as a person outside of nature bullshit.
